Chateaugay's Matt Swanston (11) wins the opening tip of the game with the tip forward to start the offense. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in Section X East Division action as part of Senior Night. The Bulldogs would get off to a quick start as they would have a 21-5 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter they would outscore the Panthers 23-3 and take a 44-8 lead at intermission. In the second half it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would score the Panthers 17-3 and cruise to the 61-11 victory. In the winning effort Devin Barnes would lead the way with 10 points. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would cruise to a 51-12 victory. Leading the way for the Bulldogs Courtney Boyea would have 19 points. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Falls Saints in Section X East Division doubleheader action. In the first game, the teams would each get three to have it tied at 3. The Bulldogs would get a single run in the fourth to make it 4-3 Bulldogs. Then in the fourth, the Bulldogs would get two more to make it 6-3. In the fifth, the Saints would do there best to make a comeback it would fall short though as they would make it 6-5 Bulldogs take game one. In the second game, the Saints would get out to the 1-0 lead after the first. Then in the second inning, the Saints would get four while the Bulldogs would get one to make it 5-1. Then in the third, the Bulldogs would get two more to make it 5-3. Then in the fourth, the comeback would be complete as they would get four more to take the 7-5 lead. Then in the fifth, they would get three more while the Saints could just mustard one as the Bulldogs would get the 10-6 win. With the win, it would give the Bulldogs a sweep on the day and give them a 4-6 record on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Kayla Legacy (1)winds up and fires a strike. In a game that would turn out to be a slugfest, the Chateaugay Bulldogs would fall 22-13 against the Lisbon Golden Knights. The story of the game would be lots of runs and some misplaying the field would lead to runs. The 5th inning would be the Bulldogs dagger as they would allow 10 runs. Gallery

In a battle for first place in the East division, the Chateaugay Bulldogs would fall 3-0 to the Colton-Pierpont Colts. The Colts would get single runs in the fourth, fifth, and six for the victory. In losing effort Courtney Boyea would go the distance giving up 5 hits and striking out nine. With the lose the Bulldogs finish there season at 10-2 in three-way tie for there first division title with Colton-Pierpont and Parishville-Hopkinton. Gallery

The Bulldogs would get the easy 3-0 victory by scores of 25-4, 25-7, and 25-16. Leading the way would be an impressive serving performance by Grace Harrigan. It would be the first round of the New York State Class D Championship and it would feature the Chateaugay Bulldogs and the Argyle Scots. It would be four very tightly contested games, unfortunately, thought it would not be the night for the Bulldogs. The Argyle Scots would win in four games 25-19,25-21,17-25,25-17 with the lose the Chateaugay Bulldogs season comes to an end at 15-3 on the season. Gallery

It would be the Section X Class D Championship as the #1 seeded Chateaugay Bulldogs would face the #2 seeded Madrid Waddington Yellow Jackets. The Bulldogs would get a challenge from the Yellow although it would not be enough as the Bulldogs would win in straight sets 3-0 (25-14,25-15,25-20). With the win, the Bulldogs go to the State Playoff tournament starting next week as they play the winner from Section II.Gallery
