Dirtcar Racing: Sportsman Modified Special @ Airborne Park Speedway August 21st 2025

Shawn Duquette (18 and Nathaniel Guay (55) battle right to the checkered flag as they go for the win the Renegade second heat race. It would be the 15th race of the 2025 season at the Airborne Park Speedway. The Sportsman Modified Special 50-lap event, with a $1,500 to win purse, would also secure a starting spot in the Vermont 200 in a couple of weeks. Additionally, the Hartson Total Opening Small Block Modifieds, Renegades, Limited Sportsman Modified, and Mini Stocks would be in action. After all the qualifying was done, the first feature of the night would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds as 16 cars would take the green flag for their 330-lap event. Tanner Siemons would get the lead off the start of the race, but his car would have trouble and just shut down off turn 4. On the issuing restart, , it would be a battle for the lead between Jordan Fornwalt and Thomas Cook Although there would be a challenge coming from mid pack as the top 2 in the points, Mike Mahaney and Felix Roy, and when the dust settled, Mike Mahaney would get his second win in a row over Felix Roy. Jordan Fornwalt would round out the top three. Then it would be the main event of the evening with the 50-lap event for the JS Steel Sportsman Modified It would see Nick Heywood start on the pole and lead all but a few laps for the win, but that does not mean he drove away with the victory, as he would have challengers throughout the night in the likes of Vince Quenneville and Travis Bruno, as he would claim the $1,500 check and the start in the Vermont 200. Next up is the Limited Sportsman Modified, featuring a 15-lap event. Parker Dermody takes the lead at the start, but it's short-lived as David Johnson charges in and takes the lead, cruising to his second win of the season. Then we would have the Renegades in their 220-lap event, and it would see Tyler Irwin get the lead off the start and battle with Rolland Guay for the lead. Then, at the midpoint of the race,, there would be aa restart,, and Brad Bushey wouldoverdrivee the tur, sendingt the leaders, spinning out andm allthe way to the bac Then non the restart it would open the door for the points leader Shawn Duquette to take the lead and not look back for the win over Nathaniel Guay and Josh Terry. To finish off the night, the wild Mini Stocks would take to the track for their 15-lap affair. The early battle was between Haiden Bourdeau and Jeremiah Ki, with King leading until they both dived into the corner, got loose, and went off the track. After that, the cream would start to rise to the top as Jake Fountain and Ryan Senecal would get out front and battle for the win, and Fountain would get the win, and Jeremiah King would round out the top three. It would be the 15th race of the 2025 season at the Airborne Park Speedway. Mini Stock Special @ Airborne Park Speedway August 14th 2025
JP Corrow (61) and Caleb Tourville (42) battle for position as they both come from way back in the feild to go after the win and it would see JP Corrow cash in for the big payday. It would be the 12th race of the 2025 season from the Airborne Park Speedway, and the main event would be the 20-lap $1,000 to win for the Mini Stocks. Also in action on this evening would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, and the Limited Sportsman Modified. After all the qualifying was done, the first feature of the evening would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, and there would be 14 cars that would take the green for the 30-lap feature. The early race up front would be between George Foley and Tanner Siemons, and it would see Foley pull away for the lead. Although it would see Mike Mahanney overcome his 9th place start and battle Foley for the lead, and take it as they went high in turn one for the lead, from there Mahanney would cruise away for the win and extend his points lead over Tim Fuller as we are closing in on the track championship. Next up is the Mini Stocks, with $1,000 to win in a 20-lap event featuring 24 cars. You could see that everyone was after the big pay, as it took multiple starts to get past one lap on the board. There would be a good battle up front most of the race between Speedy Bressette, Glen Engstrom, and Nick Harnden, who would swap the lead on multiple occasions. Still, there would a hard charger coming rom deep in the feild of JP Corrow and after there was some contact coming into the last corner on the last lap Corrow would be able to stink by and gethis 4th win of the season and claim the $1,000 first place check. Then it would be time for the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified and there 25 lap event that would see Chris Cayea get the lead off the start but it would be Michael Wright that would get around him for the pass and would hold that lad ao the last lap when the yellow call would go out setting up a two lap dash for the cash. In the front row for the restart would be Michal Wright, the six-time track champion Nick Heywood, and Michael Wright would get the good start and hold on for his first career win. Then we would have the Renegades for their 220-lap race, and it would see Nathaniel Guay go wire to wire for his first win of the season over Shawn Duquette and Brad Bushey. To finish off the night, the Limited Sportsman Modified would take the stage, with Sarah Ann Lauziere going wire to wire for the win, wrapping up the night of racing. Mid-Season Championship @ Airborne Park Speedway June 26th 2025

It would be the eighth round from the Airborne Park Speedway, and it would be time for the mid-season championships, and all five of the weekly divisions would be in action on the night. After the heat races were done, it would be onto the main events for the night, and we would start with the headliner division, the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds. It would see Dave Camara get the lead from the start of the race. Still, the two that have been dominating the early part of the season would come charging from the fifth row, like Mike Mahanney and Felix Roy. On this evening, Mahanney would get to the checkered flag first, with Felix Roy second and Thomas Cook rounding out the top three. Then we would move into the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap event. It would see Jason McClatchie start on the pole and take the lead off the start and not give it up for the rest of the night, but we would have a challenge in the likes of Lonnie Rivers, but he would come up just short, and McClatchie would get his first win in over a year. Then we would move into the 9th State Cannabias Renegades, and it would be a battle between the two, starting at the front row throughout the event between Josh Terry and Rolland Guay. On this day, Josh Terry would get to the line first. Then we would go to the Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified to watch Garin Thompson and Parker Dermody battle it out for the 15-lap event. In the end, Garin Thompson secured the first win of the season. Then, to finish off the night, it would be the Mini Stock in their 15-lap frenzy. Jeremiah King would take the lead at the start of the event and hold it for most of the time, but a hard charger like JP Corrow would come on strong, ultimately winning the night. Topless Night for Dad @ Airborne Park Speedway June 14th 2025
Caleb Durgan (17 captures the checkered flag for his first win in the JS Steel Sportsman Modified event and the $1,500 check. It would be second night of racing in three days at the Airborne Park Speedway as it would be topless night for dad at the track wit the Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Modified, Renegades, Mini Stocks, Mohawk Vintage Series, Pro Stocks, and Crown Vic's in action along with the Enduro for 50 laps. After all the qualifying was done, the first feature up would be the Mohawk Valley Vintage Series with their four divisions on tap. The winners would be Frank Hoard Jr in the Late Models, Jack Miller in the Modifieds, Mark Wheeler in the Antique Division, and Scott Straight in the Mystique Division. Then we would have the JS Steel Sportsman Modified with there 30 lap event with 1500 to win would see Caleb Durgan get the lead off the start of the race and do his best to say goodbye to the feild but Fire Swamp would come up from his tenth place start to get to second and battle for the lead but Durgan would get his first career win over Fire Swamp and Codie Aubin. Then it would be 9th State Cannabias Renegades and their 20 lap race, and it would see a battle between the Tylers as Irwin and Terry would go after the lead, and this time would see Terry get the win for his fourth win of the season. Then we would see the Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified come out for their 20-lap race, and Kobe Hernandez would get the win over Parker Dermody as he would increase his lead in the season-long points battle. Then, in the Pro Stock 25-lap affair, it would see hometown boy Zack Daniels go wire to wire for the win, but it would not be without competition from Marc Lalonde. Then we would have the Crown Vics for their 15-lap main that would see Richie Turner get the lead off the start and hold for about the first half of the race, but then Eric Friend would catch him and take the win for his second straight in the Crown Vics at Aiborne. Then, to finish off the regular racing on the night would be the Mini Stocks for the 15-lap contest that would see Jamie Whitney get the early lead, but Kenny Tourville would keep charging and get the lead and eventual win, which would be hugely popular with the crowd. Then it would be the 50 lap enduro to finish off the night that would see the Enduro specialist Richie Turner get the early lead of the race, but Michael Wright would keep charging and get past him for the lead and win in the last laps of the race. Dirtcar Racing: Dirtcar 358 Modfied and Sportsman Series @ Airborne Park Speedway May 15th 2025

It would be the Battle of Plattsburgh from the Airborne Park Speedway, as it would be the only stop of the year for the Dirtcar 358 and Sportsman Modified tours, also in action were the Renegades, Mini Stocks, and Limited Sportsman Modified. Forty cars would show up for the 358 Modifieds and the Sportsman Modifieds divisions as they would fight for one of the 28 starting spots in the main events. The 358 Modified Series 75 lap race would see Adam Pierson get the lead off the start, but it would be short-lived as Jarrett Herbison would get the lead a few laps in, and he would try to go out there and hide. Although the cream would rise to the top, the fight for the win would come down to Matt Williamson and Felix Roy, and capturing the checkered flag and the 5,000 dollars would be Matt Williamson, with Felix Roy and Mike Mahaneney rounding out the top three. Then we would have the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified East Series race that would see a great show up front between Donovan Lussier and Vince Queneville. Lussier would get across the line first for the win. Still, there would be technical issues, and the top two would be Dq, and Zach Buff would inherit the win.
