The Rams would fight back and tie the game at the 11:40 mark of the period, when Bella Schmidt scored to make it a-1 The Cardinals would come back and regain the lead at 2-1 on a power-play goal by Seeyoung Yoo at the 17:30 mark of the first. The Cardinals would take the lead at the 8:13 mark from Kayson Ruegge's lone goal of the period for the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there till the 4:49 mark of the second when Riley Keller would score to increase the Cardinal lead to 2-0. The Cardinals would keep on the gas and extend their lead to 3-0 about 5 minutes later on the Bailey MacKellar goal.
