The Northern Adirondack Bobcats would meet up with the Madrid Waddington Yellow Jackets in the first round of the New York State Class C basketball championships. The Bobcats would jump out to the quick 16-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bobcats would extend there lead by winning the quarter 11-6 and have a 27-15 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same as the Bobcats win the quarter 13-6 and have a 40-21 lead. In the fourth quarter the Bobcats would step back a bit and the Jackets would win the quarter 15-6. It would be a battle of top 20 teams as the #19 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #18 Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X action. It would be a battle between a couple rivals and the Bulldogs would have the 12-7 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, Bulldogs would continue to control the game and win the quarter 18-10 and have a 30-17 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Panthers would start clawing there way back and win the quarter 11-7 although the Bulldogs would still lead 37-28. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would put the clamps down on the Panthers and win the quarter 21-10 and get the 58-38 victory. It would be a game where the scoring would be at a premium. The Larries would have the 9-6 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs would win the quarter 6-4 although they would trail 13-12 at the half. When the teams returned for the third quarter the Bulldogs would win the quarter 9-4 and take the 22-16 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Larries would have no answer the Bulldogs would win the quarter 10-4 to take the 32-20 win. In the second quarter, the teams would trade basket and tie at 12 although they would have 28-17 lead at the break. When the teams returned for the third quarter it would be a defense quarter with the Bulldogs winning it 9-5 to take a 37-22 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter the Bulldogs would win the quarter 11-3 and get the 48-25 victory. Leading the way for the Bulldogs would be Brianna Cook with 17 points as the Bulldogs go to 3-1 on the season. In a low scoring first quarter, the Bulldogs would take the slim 8-6 lead. In the second quarter, the Bobcats would be in complete control and win the quarter 20-5 and take the 26-13 lead into the intermission. In the third quarter, it would be very low scoring and the Bulldogs would win the quarter 4-2 and the Bobcats would still have the 28-17 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would do there best to make a game by winning 12-8. Although it wouldn't be enough as the Bobcats would get the 36-29 win.
