Chateaugay's Hannah Cook (1) goes in for the layup as she lays it off the window. The #8 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #14 Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in Section X east division action. The emotions were high as both teams came into the game undefeated and were going for first place. The Bulldogs would rule the first quarter as they would have the 12-7 lead. Although the second quarter would go to the Yellow Jackets 12-5 and have the 19-17 halftime lead. When the teams returned for the third the Yellow Jackets would extended there leas as they took the quarter 15-6 for the 34-23 lead. The Bulldogs would do there best to come back but would only take the 4th 17-14 but would fall 48-40. In the losing effort, Kate Beach would lead the way with 17 points as the Bulldogs fall to 6-2 on the season. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would take to the court against the Norwood-Norfolk in Section X action just a few days after the tragic loss of one of there own against the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would race out to the 19-3 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Flyers would do there best to keep the game close as they would win the quarter 13-7 to make it 26-16 Bulldogs at the break. When the teams returned for the second half the Bulldogs would find there spread again as they would win the quarter 19-9 to take the 45-25 lead into the 4th quarter. Chateaugay's Rachel Young (3) goes in for the contested layup and gets the score. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in Section X East Division action. The Flyers would try and slow down the Bulldogs with the full-court press in the first quarter to no help as the Bulldogs would have the 23-2 lead after one. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would take a 41-12 lead into the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would cruise to the 77-30 win. Gallery

Chateaugay's Emily Dwyer (15) and Beekmantown's Oliva Trudeau (25) battle for the loose ball along the baseline. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would travel to the Beekmantown and taken on the Eagles in a non-league JV game. It would be a game that very physical underneath points would come at a premium as the Eagles would hold the slight 11-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs would outscore the Eagles 12-10 to tie the game 21-21 at the half. The third quarter would be the deciding quarter of the game as the Eagles would win the quarter 21-8 and take a 42-29 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs just had no answer as they would lose the game 51-38. In the losing effort, Danielle and Alicia Cook would lead the way with 11 points as the Bulldogs suffer there first loss of the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Seth Young (3) drives the lane hard and draws the contact on the basket as part of 15 point night. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Falls Saints in Section X East Division action. This early season matchup would see the defenses locking both teams down after the first the Bulldogs would have a 8-5 lead. In the second quarter the defenses would still hold tight as the Saints win the quarter 13-7 and took a 18-15 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third the defenses would still have the upper hand as the Bulldogs win the quarter 9-5 and take the 24-23 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the offenses would finally show up as the Saints win the quarter 20-14 to give the Saints the 43-38 win. With the win the Saints go to 6-0 and the Bulldogs fall to 2-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Danielle Charland (1) takes flight along the baseline for the layup basket. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host their neighbors the Northern Adirondack Bobcats in non-league action. The game would start off tight actually as tight as it could get as they would be tied at 10 after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bulldogs would pull ahead barely as they would have 25-22 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half the Bobcats defense would step in the third quarter as the Bobcats would outscore the Bulldogs 17-5 and take the 39-30 lead after three. The Bulldogs would try there best in the fourth to get back in the game but their efforts would come up short and they would fall 48-39 to the Bobcats. Even with the Bulldogs lose Danielle Charland and Abby Barnes would each have 11 points as they fall to 0-1. Gallery
