SUNYAC Men's Hockey #5 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Potsdam State Bears November 1 2013

Plattsburgh State's Connor Gorman (11) flies over Potsdam State's Jon Hall (32) when he came out to play the puck on the breakaway attempt. The #5 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Potsdam State Bears in the season and SUNYAC opener. In the battle of fellow north country rivals there would be times the would get physical and chippy at times. The game would remain scoreless until the 41 seconds into the second period when Nick Jensen would score on the power play to make it 1-0 Cardinals. The Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 just three minutes later when Patrick Hermans would score his collegiate goal. Then 4:23 into the third period Dillon Fox would add one more to give the Cardinals the 3-0 victory. In the winning Mathieu Cadieux would have 14 saves for the shutout victory. With the win the Cardinals start of there seasons the right way at 1-0. Gallery

Section X Class D Championship #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs vs #2 Edwards-Knox Cougars October 30 2013

Chateaugay's Kylie Hanley (35) and Edward-Knox's Marissa Johnson (2) meet at the net and the ball falls for a Bulldog point. The #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs would play #2 Edwards-Knox Cougars in Section X Class D Championship at Massena High School. The Bulldogs would need four games to get the championship 25-16, 25-8, 19-25, 25-20. With the victory the Bulldogs have won there eight straight championships. Now they play the winner of Northern Adirondack and Lake Placid in the State Tournament on November 6 at Massena High School. Gallery

Section X Class D Semi-Finals #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs #5 Tupper Lake Lumberjacks October 28 2013

Chateaugay's Caitlin Miller (21) with the spike at the net over the Tupper Lake blocker. #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #5 Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in the Section X Class D Semi-finals. The Bulldogs would make quick work of them as they get the straight-set win 25-4, 25-8, 25-12. With the win the Bulldogs advance to the championship against Edwards-Knox. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer #14 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers October 25 2013

Chateaugay's Chad Slater (10) goes up for the header at midfield as Parishville-Hopkinton's Ethan Cox. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in the last regular-season game of the season. It would be a cold game with a steady win that would start spitting snow before the end. The two teams would definitely bring there best and it would get very physical and chippy out there. The Bulldogs would take the quick 1-0 in the 7th minute on Seth Young's goal. Then in the 13th minute the Bulldogs would extend there lead to 2-0 on Chad Stalter's penalty kick. Then in the 20th minute Wyatt Snell would score for the Panthers to try and get them back in it. From there on both teams would have their chances but that would end the scoring as the Bulldogs get the 2-1 win and go to 12-3-1 on the season. In the win Josh Trombley would have three saves on the night.

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer#14 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs #12 Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets October 18 2013

Chateaugay's Devin Labare (3) and Madrid-Waddington's Sean Ticman (11) lock knees as they battle for the ball in the midfield. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in-game between the top 15 teams in the state along with the battle for first place in the division. The Yellow Jackets would get the lone goal of the game from Kaden Pickering in the 4th minute of the game. The game would be very physical at times and both teams were having issues with the wind. The Bulldogs would have their chances throughout the game but unable to find the back of the net. With the win, the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets would clinch the East Division title and the Bulldogs fall to 10-3-1 on the season. Gallery.

Northern Adirondack Conference Volleyball: Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Malone Huskies October 22 2013

Malone's Rachel Lamica (2) with the jump serve for the ace and Huskies point. The Malone Huskies would host the Chateaugay Bulldogs in a battle that would have the best two teams in Section X's action. This would be a five-setter that would have some very intense moments and the crowd was pulling for there teams. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would get the win over the Malone Huskies but they would need all five sets (25-18, 15-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-15). With the win the Bulldogs would finish there season undefeated at 16-0 while the Huskies fall to 13-2 on the season. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Volleyball: Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Tupper Lake Lumberjacks October 21 2013

Chateaugay's Shelby Yulanavich (11) with the tip over the net for the point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in Section X East Division action. This would be the final home game of the regular season for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs would end it in great fashion with the straight-sets victory 25-10, 25-14, 25-19. With the win the Bulldogs stay undefeated on the season at 15-0 as the end the season Tuesday against Malone. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Soccer: Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers October 21 2013

Chateaugay's Katie Beach (7) with the toe drag takes around Parishville-Hopkinton's Kayla Myers (6) and goes to the net. It would be a battle of the top 20 teams as the Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in the home finale of the season. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would take the quick 1-0 lead on Danielle Charland's goal in the 3rd minute. The Bulldogs extend there lead to 2-0 in the 8th minute on an own goal. The Bulldogs would make it 3-0 when Katie Beach would score in the 15th minute. Then in the 55th minute Hannah Cook scored to make it 4-0. The Bulldogs would end there scoring in the 70th minute on Courtney Yando's goal to secure the 5-0 win. In the winning effort Kennedy Boyea would stop five for the shutout as the Bulldogs go to 12-0-1. Gallery

North Country Flag Football Roto-Roters Vs T. Malinik Masonry October 20 2013

T. Malik Masonry (82) would intercept the ball in the endzone to end the game. Roto-Roters and T. Malinik Masonry would meet during week 6 of the season. Roto-Roters would take the 7-0 lead nine minutes in on Harry Rascoe's score. Just two minutes later Malinik's would tie the game at seven on Chris Castine's 45-yard score. Malik's would take the 14-7 lead on a 31-yard strike. Roto-Roters would score in the last minute of the second half on Brandon Lamica's touchdown but would fail on the extra point to give Malinik the 14-13 win. With the win T. Malinik Masonry would go to 4-2 while Roto-Roters fall to 5-1. Gallery

Monsters Kenji Jones (48) with the stiff arm on the defender to keep the play alive. Mamas Boyz would face Northeast Monsters during week 6 of the season. The Monsters would take the 7-0 lead on Kenji Jones 70 yard run for the score. The Monsters would score again with four minutes left in the half to take a 14-0 lead at the break. Mama's Boyz would do there best to stay in the game and get a second-half score by Jordan Gillespie to make it a 14-6 Monsters win. With the win the Monsters go to 3-3 while Mama's Boyz falls to 2-4.
