Chateaugay's Devin Labare (3) and Madrid-Waddington's Sean Ticman (11) lock knees as they battle for the ball in the midfield. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in-game between the top 15 teams in the state along with the battle for first place in the division. The Yellow Jackets would get the lone goal of the game from Kaden Pickering in the 4th minute of the game. The game would be very physical at times and both teams were having issues with the wind. The Bulldogs would have their chances throughout the game but unable to find the back of the net. The Bulldogs would get the opening goal in the 11th minute on the Cody Smith goal to make it 1-0 Bulldogs. That is where the game would remain until the 63rd minute when the Bulldogs would increase the lead to 2-0 on Wayne Cowan's rebound goal.
