When the teams returned for the second half, the scoring would stay there as the Hawks would stretch their lead to double digits through most of the half, but the Cougars would battle back late in the half to make it a game as they would get within five, but the Hawks would win the half 35-32 as the Hawks get the 68-60 victory. In the second half, it would come down to the last 10 seconds of the game as the Cardinals would come down and hit a layup from Ikechukwu Ezikea to give them the 75-74 lead. But then the Bears would take the inbound pass with three seconds left, and Nicholas Cortez would hit a three-pointer for the win past half court to beat the buzzer as the Bears got the 77-75 victory. In the winning effort, the Bears' Nicholas Cortez would lead the team with 27 points as they go to 3-14 on the season and head into their next game against the Morrisville State Mustangs.
