Airborne Speedway's Shane Perotte (2) applies the tag on the cardinal runner advancing to third. The Padres would split a doubleheader with the Cardinals. The first game would be close throughout the Padres would win 6-3 in nine innings. The Cardinals would get the early 1-0 lead in the second. Then the Padres would answer back with two in the third. Then the Cardinals would get 1 in the 4th to tie the game two. The two teams would trade runs in the 5th to make it 3-3. That's where the game would remain until the ninth when the Padres would open up the offense and the cardinals would have costly miscues and score three runs and get the 6-3 victory. Getting the win for the Padres would be Frank Brogna. Gane two would go to the cardinals. With the split on the day, the Padres go to 1-3 and the Cardinals 3-1 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Alex Johnson (15) throws on to first to complete the double play. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Brushton-Moria Panthers 13-7 in nonleague action. The Malone bats would score early and often with nine runs in the first to take the early 9-0 lead. The Huskies would answer with another four in the third for the 13-0 lead. The Panther bats would come alive in the fourth though as they would get seven runs to make it the 13-7 final. Getting the win for the Huskies would be Derek Juntunen. With the win, the Huskies keep there unbeaten season intact at 8-0 and the Panthers fall to 2-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Matt Swanston (11) makes solid connect on the high pitch and sends it to the outfield. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in an east division tilt. The Yellow Jackets would get off to a quick start as they would get three in the first and not look back. With the quick 3-0 start, the Yellow Jackets would keep it up and cruise to the 14-0 win. The Bulldogs would be hampered by untimely errors and unable to get anything going offensively. With the lose the Bulldogs fall to 2-6 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Holly Zeldenrust (17) with the walk-off bases-loaded single to send the fans home happy. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks 7-6 on a walk-off single by Holly Zeldenrust. The Bulldogs would out to 2-0 lead after one. Then in the third inning, the Bulldogs would get four and the Lumberjacks would add 2 to make 6-2 after 3. Then in the 6th, the Lumberjacks would tie the game at 6 as they would get four runs. Then in the seventh inning, the Bulldogs would end the game on a walk-off bases-loaded single by Holly Zeldenrust. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would strike out eight as the Bulldogs would improve to 6-1 on the season.Gallery

Chateaugay's Garrett Holmes (17) snags the liner to start the game-ending double play. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks 11-10. The game would go back and forth and the offenses were definitely on display. The Bulldogs would jump quick and quick and take the 3-1 lead after 1. Then in the second, the Lumberjacks would answer back with six for the 7-4 lead. Then in the third Bulldogs would come back with five for the 9-7 lead. Then the teams would settle down the rest of the way and Bulldogs would hold on for the 11-10 victory. In the winning effort Garret Labare would strike out 8 in 5.2 innings of work. Lyon Mountain's Chris Van Houten (4) on release with the fastball for one of his ten strikeouts on the day. The Lyon Mountain Miners would sweep the Airborne Speedway Padres 7-5 and 9-2. In-game one of the doubleheaders the Miners would take a 2-0 lead after the second. The Padres would answer back with one in third but the Miners would get three in the bottom to have the 5-1 lead. Then in the fourth, the Miners would get two more for the 7-1 lead. The Padres would try to make the late-game comeback but it just comes up short getting four runs in the last two innings for the 7-5 Miners win. In the winning effort, Justin Besaw would strike out four. In-game the Padres would just have no answers for the Miners as they would get 9 unanswered runs in the first six innings. Then in the seventh Padres would avoid the shutout by getting two runs for the 9-2 final. In the winning effort, Chris Van Houten would strike out 10 in 6 innings of shutout ball.

Saranac's batter makes connect on the pitch down the middle for the base hit. The Saranac Chiefs would take care of business against the Moriah Vikings winning 14-1. The game would be tied at 1 after the first. Then in the rest of the game, the Chiefs would get 13 unanswered runs and cruise to the victory. Saranac's Andrew Petro would go five innings striking out four while giving up one hit and one walk. With the victory, the Chiefs improve there record to 6-2 on the season. Gallery

The Huskies would make easy work of the Bears in both games handily. In the second game, Devon and Bruce Monette would combine for the no-hitter. Chateaugay's Kayla Legacy (1)winds up and fires a strike. In a game that would turn out to be a slugfest, the Chateaugay Bulldogs would fall 22-13 against the Lisbon Golden Knights. The story of the game would be lots of runs and some misplaying the field would lead to runs. The 5th inning would be the Bulldogs dagger as they would allow 10 runs. Gallery

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs it would be more the same a lack of offense and timely errors on defense would hurt them through out the day. The Flyers would get out to a 10-0 lead after the first three innings before the Bulldogs would get on the broad and by that point the game would be decided. The Flyers would get the 18-7 victory in six as the Bulldogs go to 1-5 on season. Gallery
