Saranac Chiefs Vs Beekmantown Eagles October 29 2011

Saranac Chiefs Ryan St. Clair (35) breaks through the tackle of the Beekmantown Eagles and bounces to sidelines. It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory. With the lose the season comes to end for the Chiefs with a 6-3 record. As the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Class B Championship against the Peru Indians at Ausable Valley. Gallery.

#4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Potsdam State Bears October 29 2011

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Jenny Kistner (8) put the puck to the top shelf over the goalie for the score. The #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get the 4-1 victory over the Buffalo State Bengals in ECAC-West play. The Cardinals would open up the scoring in the second on three goals coming from Alyssa Parke, Allison Era, and Jenny Kistner. They would add one from Emma Rutherford in the third period. Chateaugay Bulldogs' Hannah Cook (1) cuts around the Edwards-Knox defender and continues on towards the net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would finish off the home portion of the schedule against the Edwards-Knox Cougars. The Bulldogs would make easy work of the cougars as they would get the 6-0 win. Saranac Chiefs' Zach Lareau (26) backs his way into the receiver and breaks up the play and almost gets the interception. The Saranac Chiefs would honor their seniors before the game and then go onto the field and take care of business as they would defeat the St. Lawerence Larries 62-12. Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Edward-Knox Cougars October 21 2011

Chateaugay Bulldogs' Chad Slater (10) with the header at midfield between a pair of Edward-Knox Cougar defenders. It would be a divisional matchup that would see the Chateaugay Bulldogs host the Edward-Knox Cougars. The Bulldogs would come away with the 1-0 win as Devin Willis would get the lone goal in the first minute of the game on a feed from Chad Slater. Eric Fleury would stop three shots for the shutout. The Plattsburgh North Stars' quest to repeat as EFL Champions came to end in Amsterdam against the Albany Metro Mallers with a 29-14 defeat. It would be a game that would it fair share of hard-hitting and rain that would play havoc on the game. It was a tight game through the first half that would see the teams deadlocked at 14 at the break. Then the second half the North Stars would have their chances just couldn't get anything to connect.
