There were many great sides by side races during the day. The crowd-pleasers were always when the Arctic Cat line up against the Ski-Doo.The local area snow sled clubs from Ellenburg, Plattsburgh, Peru, and Saranac held there 4th annual sled drags for the third year at the Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY. There were around 35 competitors in the 16 different classes that competed to benefit the different clubs. Everyone was very pleased with the turnout and are looking forward to next year's races. Plattsburgh North Stars Trevor St. Clair (5) turns back for the TD catch on the opening drive of the game. In a rematch of last year's Empire Football League Championship, the Plattsburgh North Stars would gain there revenge over the Watertown Red & Black with a convincing 21-7 victory. With the win, the North Stars are now in a three-way tie atop the league with Watertown and Vermont. The North Stars would show that they meant busy from the beginning when Kenny Stay and Trevor St. Clair connected on a touchdown pass on the opening driving. Then as the half was nearing the end Kenny Stay would connect with Jordan Keleher for a second touchdown pass. The North Stars would add another one late. Then Red & Black would get their lone touchdown with 1:30 left in the game. The North Stars will look to ride this momentum into there game next weekend on the road against the New York Stallions in Hartwick. Gallery

Ed Stewart and his new Already There Pro Stock Tractor came up to Westport for a test and tune with the new tractor. The Essex County Fair Tractor Pull would bring an end to the 2010 Adirondack Truck & Tractor Pullers Assocation season. One the last day of the season there would be 75 enteries spread over 13 different classes. Gallery

Erine Audet and Pure Breed Red took part in the 12,500lb Altered Stock Tractor class after needing to do some repairs after a run earlier in the day. Gallery

Mad Dog and Todd Jarvis would break a three way tie for the title to win the 4x4 Trucks Class B title on the last run of the season with a win. The annual truck pull would run through 10 different classes on the night with a average 10 trucks per class. Gallery

Dick Eakins in Bullett Proof from Hopkinton, NY would win the 9,000lb Pro Stock Tractor division at the Franklin County Fair in Malone, NY. The annual truck and tractor pull would turn into another all-day affair with over 35 different classes and 150 entries Gallery

Alexander Otis and White Lighting takes third place in the 4x4 Trucks Class B division. With the third place they enter the last pull of the season in Westport, NY on August 13th as part of a three way tie season title with Mad Dog and Yellow Fever. Gallery

The annual demolition derby returned to the Franklin County Fair in Malone, NY in front of another packed grandstand. There would be 90 cars that would take part in the second night of derby action. It was a bad day at office for the blue #23 car as it would start folding up on itself during the second heat. Gallery
