It was a battle for the east division lead. Both teams entered tonight's contest with only one league loss each and were tied for first place in east divisional play. Malayala Fleury had twelve boards and played a great all-around game. Alexis Beach had another stellar defensive effort for the win. Alexis bottlenecked their offense from baseline to the baseline. The Bulldogs would start of slow but end the first quarter on a 15-2 run and that would close the book on the game. The Bulldogs would have a 24-12 lead at break and cruise to the 45-26 victory.
