It would be a game that would be tight in the first quarter as the Bulldogs would have the 20-15 lead at the end first quarter In the second quarter the Bulldogs would start to pull away as they would win the quarter 14-6 and have a 34-21 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter they would take complete control as they would win the quarter 28-9 and have a 62-30 lead headed into the fourth. In the fourth quarter the Saints would not give up the fight and win the last quarter 19-16. Although it would not nearly be enough as the Bulldogs would get the 78-49 victory. In the fourth quarter it would be tight again but the Bulldogs would win the quarter 16-14 and get the 57-34 victory.
