Jake Fountain (22) has the bumper pressed right to the back of JJ Laporte (4) as they dive into turn one of the Moore Recycling Mini Stoicks main event. This would not be just another Thursday Night Thunder as this would be Hulbert Supply's Night and the $1,500 to Vermont 200 Qualifier with the winner getting a starting spot for the $12,500 to win next weekend at Devils Bowl Speedwy. There would be three divisions in action on the evening the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, and the Moore Recycling Mini Stocks. After the heat races and the one Last Chance Qualifier that was needed, it would be time for the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified to take to the track for their 50-lap $ 1,500-to-win event. The race would take a bit to get going including a rollover by Jonathan Toohill that would bring out the red flag on lap two. The early leader would be Mike Wright ass he would start on the pole and would hold the lead for most of the night but he would have an early challenge from Chris Cayea. Then the 61L of Donovan Lussier would charge up from his 8th place start and take the lead in the closing laps. Although he would have a late race challenge from Joey Scarbrough who would have to charge from 17th helped by the longer distance race he would come up just one spot short and finishing out the top three would be Travis Bruno. So with his win tonight, Donovan Lussier joins Nick Heywood and Zack Sobotka as starters in the Vermont 200. There is one more granurated starting spot available for the 200 this weekend at the Devils Bowl Speedway with the winner of the Charlie LaDuc memorial. Then it would be time for the 9th State Cannabis Renegades and their 25-lap race and the battle up front would be between a couple of fan favorites as it would be a showdown between Tylor Terry and Richie Turner. Turner would be the leader for most of the race but with a couple of laps to go Terry would take the lead in turn 1 Turner would come back charging down the backstretch and dive bomb the corner and push up and put both of them in the turn four wall. Inheriting the lead and the win would be Josh Terry who would edge out Nathaniel Guay and Bill Thwaits would round out the top three. Then to finish off the night would be a pair of main events for the Moore Recycling Mini Stock in the A Main it would be Kris Clark's charge from deep in the field to get the win and his 4th in the last 5 races. Then it would be onto the B Main and it would produce a first-time winner as Jeremiah King would beat Tyler Bell to the line for the win.
