It would be the semi-finals from the Section VII Boy's Hockey and it would see the #1 Beekmantown Eagles hosting the #5 Plattsburgh Hornets at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena for the right to play for the sectional title on Monday evening. The favor Beekmantown Eagles would get off to a good start as they would score twice in the first period from Sam Bingel and they would have a 2-0 lead at the end of the first. In the second period, the Eagles would get another couple of goals this time from Ryan Demers and Sam Bingel and Bingel would get the hat trick as the Eagles extended their lead to 4-0. In the third period, the Eagles would put the exclamation point on the game as they would add another three goals from Zach Lapier, Braden Nephew, and Pryce Parker as the Eagles got the 7-0 win and advanced to Section VII Boy's Hockey Finals against the winner of the Saranac Spartans and Saranac Lake/Lake Placid Lakers. In a losing effort, the Plattsburgh Hornets goalie Owen Chapple would do everything he could to keep his team in the game with 63 saves on the evening. Gallery.

Northeastern Clinton's Garrett Pilon (10) with the crunching hit on the Beekmantown skater as they go after the loose puck along the boards. It would be the last regular season game for the #8 Beekmantown Eagles as they would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena on senior night. It would just take 2:27 into the game before we had our first goal from Novak Jarus for the Eagles to give them the early 1-0 lead. The Cougars would come right back and tie the game up at one on the Eddie Bulriss goal just two minutes later. About halfway through the period, the Eagles would retake the lead on the shorthanded goal by Zach Lapier to make it a 2-1 game. The Cougars would answer the bell right back just 20 seconds later on the Wayne Simpson goal to tie the game at two. The Eagles come out swinging in the second period and take the 3-2 lead just seven into the period on the Louis Sweenor goal. The Eagles would stay on fire as they would score again just 1:20 later as Novak Jarus would get his second goal of the game to make it a 4-2 game. The Cougars would come back again and make it a one-goal again on the Wayne Simpson second of the evening to make it a 4-3 game. The game would stay there till the 6:27 mark of the third period when Owen Ebersol would tie the game for the Cougars at four. The Eagles from there would take control of the game as they would get three unanswered goals from Louis Sweenor (two) and Zach Lapier as the Eagles secured the 7-4 win. In the winning effort, the Eagles would finish off the sectional season with a perfect 8-0 record and the regular season at 17-3 while the Northeastern Clinton Cougars fall to 4-14-1 on the season. Beekmantown's Steven Bronson (12) with the block shot on Plattsburgh's Marcus Griffiths (10) on his shoot attempt from the elbow. It would be the crosstown rivalry matchup as the Beekmantown Eagles would make the short 7-mile trek over to Plattsburgh High School and take on the Hornets in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Basketball action. The game would be tight through the first 8 minutes of the game with the Hornets having a slim 14-13 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter the game would stay tight but the the Eagles would have a better quarter with a 17-12 quarter and take the 30-26 lead into the break. When the teams returned for the second half the Eagles would stay hot and be able to expand on their lead at 48-38 as they would have a 18-12 quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles would just be too much for the Hornets on this night as they would have a 14-10 quarter and capture the 62-48 win. In the winning effort, the Eagles go to 7-5 while the Hornets fall to 8-6 on the season as the two teams battle for the division win down the stretch. Gallery

Beekmantown's Lilly Pratt (14) with the goal on the scramble in front of the net to extend the Eagles lead. It would be the NYSPHSAA Section VII Championship in Girl's Hockey and it would feature the #1 Beekmantown Eagles at 18-1 against the #2 Saranac Lake-Lake Placid Lakers at 3-16 from the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena in front of a decent crowd. The Eagles would come soaring in the first period and would get three unanswered goals from Avery Parker, Sophia Amaya-Gutierrez, and Janna Ruest and take the 3-0 lead after the first period. When the teams returned for the second period the Eagles would keep their foot on the gas and would have a five-goal outburst in the second with goals from Meegan Burdo, Katie McCormick, Sophia Amaya-Guiterrez (the second of the night), Lilly Pratt, and Ele Fullman and they would take control with the 8-0 lead. In the third period with the game in hand, the teams would empty the benches and let the rest of the teams play and the Eagles would add one more in the period Ele Fullman would get her second of the night as the Beekmantown Eagles get the 9-0 win. In the winning effort, they will advance to the NYSPHSAA Regional Tournament and will play the Adirondack United on February 8th in the opening round as they look to get revenge on their only loss of the season. It would be a nonsectional matchup in NYSPHSAA Boy's Hockey action as the #10 Beekmantown Eagles would host the Potsdam Sandstoners at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Eagles would get the opening goal of the game just 36 seconds into the game on the Edward Sweenor goal. From there they would be off to the races as they would add five more goals in the period with Novak Jarus (twice), Pryce Parker, Caden Columbus, and Zach Lapier. The Sandstoners would be able to light the lamp once with a goal by Ryan Charlebois as the period would end with the Eagles leading 6-1. In the second period, the Eagles would stay hot as they added another three goals as Zach Lapier (the second of the night), Novak Jarus (the second of the night), and Sam Bingel would score as the Eagles took the 9-1 lead. In the third period, the teams would be going through the motions as the outcome was a long time ago determined and the Sandstoners would win the period 3-2 but the Eagles would hold on for the 11-4 win Eagles go to 12-2 and the Sandstoners fall to 2-11 on the season.
