It would be the last game of the regular season at the Terry Martin Arena on the campus of SUNY Canton, as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the Canton Kangaroos would battle for the fifth seed in the upcoming SUNYAC tournament in front of 300 fans. It would take tuntilthe 10:01 mark of the first period wforthe home Kangaroos wtoget the opening goal of the game from Logan Kelly,, and that would be the lone goal of the period The Cardinals would come back and tie the game at the 8:35 mark of the second period when Jake Sacratini scored on the power play,, and 'that's how the period would end. The game would go until the 11:06 mark of the third period, when Dylan Pollock would get his first career goal, and it would be the winner, as the Cardinals would not be able to get the equalizer down the stretch, and the Kangaroos would get the 2-1 win. In the winning effort, the Kangaroos Trey Miller would make 35 saves as they go to 12-12-1 on the season and will take on the Cortland State Red Dragons in the SUNYAC first round. The game would be tough for the Cardinal offense and the Kangaroos defense, as the Cardinals would put 40 shots on net but be able only to get 1 by Canton's Molly Lenihan, as Piper Smith would get the lone goal for the Cardinals at the 15:31 mark of the third period, as they would get the 1-0 victory. In the Cardinals' winning effort, Chloe Lewis made 17 saves for the shutout, as they go to 10-5 on the season, while Canton falls to 9-6-1. The game would be tough for the Cardinal offense and the Kangaroos defense, as the Cardinals would put 40 shots on net but be able only to get 1 by Canton's Molly Lenihan, as Piper Smith would get the lone goal for the Cardinals at the 15:31 mark of the third period, as they would get the 1-0 victory. In the Cardinals' winning effort, Chloe Lewis made 17 saves for the shutout, as they go to 10-5 on the season, while Canton falls to 9-6-1. Canton's Alexander Colton (17) scored the first-period goal to give the Kangaroos a 1-0 lead. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would return home for the first time in a couple of weeks, and they would host North Country for the Canton Kangaroos in SUNYAC action in front of 1269 fans at the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena. The upset-minded Kangaroos would get the first goal of the game from Colton Alexander on the power play at the 15:03 mark of the period. The Kangaroos would waste little time in extending their lead to 2-0 on the Scott Cremen goal just two minutes later to make it 2-0. The game would stay there all the way to the 3:51 mark of the third period when Jake Sacratini would score for the Cardinals and make it a 2-1 game. From there, the Cardinals would give them everything they had for the rest of the period, going for the tying goal, but it wouldn't come, and the Kangaroos would get the empty-netter in the closing minute from Alexander Colton as they secured the 3-1 win. In the winning effort, Trey Miller made 43 saves as they went to 6-8 on the season. As the Cardinals would combine for 22 saves, they fall to 7-8-1 on the season. It would be the second game of the weekend doubleheader for the #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the Canton Kangaroos from the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena in SUNYAC Women's Hockey in front of 400 fans. The Cardinals would start the scoring quickly as they would take the 1-0 lead just 3:36 into the game on the Mattie Norton goal. The Cardinals would not be done, and they would make it 2-0 just two minutes later when Bridget Orr would find the back of the net, where the first period would end. The Cardinals would keep coming and make it 3-0 on Bridget Orr's second goal of the game at the 4:33 mark of the period, and that's where the second period would end. With the game in hand in the third period, the Cardinals would make it 4-0 on Mae Olshansky's powerplay goal at 15:58 to secure the victory. In the winning effort for the Cardinal, Chloe Lewis would make 18 saves for the shutout as the Cardinals go to 18-5-1 on the season as they head into their season finale against Williams on Wednesday on the road. The Cardinals would extend their lead to 2-0 just 89 seconds later when Molly Riggi would light the lamp, and that's how the period would end. The game would stay there till the 18:21 mark of the third period when Molly Riggi would get her second goal, this time c, coming on the empty netter as the Cardinals would get the 3-0 win.
