The Franklin County Fair Pro Rodeo thundered back into town for its first appearance since 2018, delivering a hard‑hitting afternoon of competition as the Painted Pony Championship Rodeo returned for its third edition. Sanctioned by the IPRA, every cowboy and cowgirl in the arena was chasing critical points toward a coveted trip to the World Finals in Oklahoma later this fall, raising the stakes for every ride, run, and throw. Bareback riding opened the show with three competitors battling the broncs. Two made the full eight seconds, but Tim Murphy’s powerful 77‑point ride stood above the rest to claim the event win. Team roping followed at the far end of the arena, with ten duos taking their shot at the clock. The drama came down to the final team out as Doug Casey and Michael Soule stopped the timers at 9.4 seconds to steal the victory. Saddle Bronc riding brought six competitors back to the chutes, each chasing points and payout. Jack Smithon delivered the winning ride with a score in the mid‑70s, edging out a tough field. Breakaway roping — one of rodeo’s fastest‑growing events — saw eleven ladies take aim at the win. Rebekah Legan set the tone early with a blistering 2.1‑second run, a number no one else could touch. Calf roping kept the momentum rolling with eleven cowboys in the draw. Once again, the final run of the afternoon proved decisive as Justin Thigpen laid down the best time to secure the event. Steer wrestling brought eight bulldoggers into the arena, but the steers had the upper hand. Only one cowboy managed to get his steer to the dirt — Corey Webb — earning the win through sheer determination. The ladies’ barrel racing was scheduled to close the afternoon, but unfavorable arena conditions forced its cancellation. That left bull riding as the final showdown. Four cowboys climbed down onto the bulls, each hoping to conquer eight seconds of chaos. Only Turner Morris made the horn sound, claiming the win as the crowd erupted. Fans left the grandstands buzzing, hopeful that the Franklin County Fair won’t wait another eight years before bringing the Pro Rodeo back for its fourth edition. Gallery

It would be the second annual Clinton County Fair Pro Rodeo brought to you by the Lucky E Rodeo Production, as they would be on their road to the International Pro Rodeo Association World Finals in front of a full grandstand, so they would all be chasing the money, along with the bragging rights. The first discipline up would be the Bareback Rodeo, as Tate Papszycki would get the win with a score of 72 by 1 point over Kenneth Glick, and Matthew Smith would round out the top three. Then it would be time for the Saddle Bronc. Only one rider would make the full 8 seconds, and that would be Caden Lowe with a score of 64, who would win just over a thousand dollars. Then we would have the tie down roping, with only two roping the calf. Gabriel Bergeron would win it with a 12.2 over Austin Stewart and get the $700 first-place check. Then it would be time to wrestle the steers, and Austin Stewart would be the best of the bunch with a time of 8.1 and beat out Trevor Graham with a 10.6 and get the $513 first-place check. Then we would have the team roping, and the team of Rounds and Quinn would beat out the other team by 2 seconds. They would each get $707 for the win. In the newest discpkne breakaway roping, Dede Koryto would get the only qualified time at 3.4 and win $1100. Then it would be time for the speedsters as the girls would race the barrels, and Britney Butzer would get the win with a 14.47, just under a second over Kayla Somero, and get the $568 first-place check. Then, to finish off the night, it would be the popular bull riding, and there would be three guys who would attempt to ride, but none of them would make the full eight seconds. Eduardo Matos gets on Mike Miller Bucking Bulls Black Squirrel and gives it his all dust, but it only lasts 4.78 seconds. and all The Pro Bull Riders (PBR) would return to Albany, NY, and the MVP Arena for the fourth straight year and be the top 40 cowboys in the world for their 6th stop on the tour. This would be the second night, also known as championship night, as they cash the 40 thousand payday and the points that go with it as they cash the World Championship and a spot in the world finals at the ATT stadium in Dallas, Texas, right? As they came into the second night of action, world number 1 John Crimber would have the lead by 1 point over Daniel Keeping and Austin Richardson, and there would be 15 that would make the 8 seconds in round 1. When they returned for the second night of action and the second round, the Cowboys kept up their great riding percentage, as half of them rode, with Joao Ricardo Viera getting the best ride at 88.25. Ten riders would be perfect through the first two rounds, with John Crimber leading the pack at 176.25 and getting the first pick in the championship round by a 1 point over Joao Ricardo Vera. Four riders would go a perfect three-for-three when they would go to the championship round in front of a sell-out crowd. It would be down to the last ride of the night, and John Crimber needed an 86-a-board Reality Check for the win, but he would go down at 5.5. With that, Julio Cesar Marques would get his first career win on tour with a score of 262 after he would ride Tulsa Time to score of 88.75 and, with the win, would move into 7th in the world as they head into New York City and Madison Square Gardens next weekend as they continue their quest for the world title. Claudio Montanha would stay on for the 8 seconds and get the ride of the weekend aboard Mike's Motive with 90.5, finish event number four, and move into the top ten in the world standings. It would be championship Saturday night on the PBR as the Unleash the Beast Tour would make their 5th stop of the 2025 season as they would return to the SNHU Arena, and there would be a sell-out crowd as they would be waiting to see who would be winning on this night. On the second night of the PBR, Manchester would start in favor of the Bulls as only three of the first half of the second round would make the 8 seconds. In the end, there would be 12 that would make the time for the round, and only six would be perfect after the second round, with the leader of the pack being Derek Kolbaba with a 175, and Kolbaba and Pacheco would win the round with 87.5. Then it would be onto the short go, where they would bring the top 12 after the first two rounds. In short, Aerekrek Alibaba would have the first pick in the draft, and he would take the last rough ride. In the short round, Claudio Montanha would get the first 90-point rid90-point weekend aboard Mike's Motitave to take the overall lead at 178. The lead would be short-lived, though, as Kaiden Loud would get on Buffalo Heifer and ride him for 88.75 and become the first rider of the weekend to cover all three pulls and take the lead into the clubhouse with a score of 260. Then it would be down to Derek Kolbaba and Red River, and he would, for the 90-point ride, get his first event win seasons and seven seasons and move to the number 4 spot in the battle for the World Title. Daniel Keeping came in 17th in world as he would get aboard Sweet Life Farms The Accountant and would ride him for 84.75. It would be the opening night of PBR Manchester in front of a near-sell-out crowd. Thirty-nine of the top bull riders in the world will be in attendance as the Pro Bull Riders make their annual return to the SNHU Arena. The Cowboys would have the upper hand on the Bulls this evening as 18 would get qualified rides at night. The scariest moment of the night would be when Vitor Losnake would go against Bad Hart when he would smack face first off the bull and be knocked out and just along for the ride and then land square on the top of the head when he would hit the ground and just lay motionless on the ground and would be taken out of the arena the on backboard,d. Still, we find out later that he would return to the arena later that night but be done for the weekend. The ride of the night would go to Adriano Salgado with an 89, as he would be the opening night winner. Although there would be a trio of riders hot on feels in the running for the 40k first place check as Claudio Montanha, Derek Kolbaba, and Kaique Pacheco would all be tied at 87.5 as Keyshawn Whitehorse and Paulo Eduardo Rossetto would round out the top 5 with 87's.
