Platsburgh's Olivia Lewis (16) with the tip at the net for the Hornet's point. It would be the season opener for the Plattsburgh Hornets and Northeastern Clinton Cougars from Plattsburgh High School in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference. It might have been the season opener for the Hornets they looked like they were in mid-season form as they would dispense of the Cougars in just 45 minutes 25-6, 25-2, and 25-7. With the win, the Hornets would start their season at 1-0 while the Cougars fall to 0-1. Gallery
